I love the very name 'zardoz:'--- the sound of the name . Though it is not quite sonorous . The
coupling of the first declensive FIRM 'z' sound with the ar soft rolling r sound and soft o sound coupled with a soft ' z ' is interesting in terms of phonetics . Interesting in terms of how rare a sound that is .
I wonder if a linguist could reveal whether or not there is any similar phonetic sound in any of the vocables of the languages around the planet .
(As an aside , if I get another absentee balott , I may decide to write the name 'zardoz' in as a write in name amidst the names of candidates for public office ...)
